About Polkadot Market

This website is the first fan-run site which is devoted to the Polkadot blockchain. The site started in Q3 of 2017 and is the first to have been started by someone outside of the development team, and the third Polkadot website in existence.

Our aim is to help educate the world and disseminate information about Polkadot. We will cover all aspects of Polkadot, including but not limited to: technology, prices, and the community.

What is Polkadot?

Polkadot is a heterogeneous scalable multi-chain: the first of its kind. Think of it as a way of potentially connecting multiple blockchains together. The platform hasn’t been launched yet but is under development by the Parity team.
